This is my last video of the year. Mostly, I just want to thank all of you who continually support my show and inspire me with your creativity.
I've got a number of projects in mind for the new year. Near the top pf that list is a router table. I really hope to get that started very soon. Keep watching, and I'll see ya next year!

ReplyDeleteMay you & all those dear to you Have a HEALTHY, HAPPY AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!!! I love your show made my granddaughter the gripper magic box (universally known as the circle square trick) for Christmas and she loves it. Grandpa had to stand up for 6 shows Christmas and video them. Since she was 6 months old she knows if you are actually videoing her. NO RED LIGHT NO SMILE!!!! THANX AGAIN IT GAVE US A GR8 XMAS WHEN WE COULDN'T AFFORD SOMETHING OUTSTANDING FOR OUR YOUNGEST, WHO KNEW WE COULD!!!!! AND WE ARE PUTTING HER FIRST SHOW ON FACEBOOK SO HER DAD IN AFGHANISTAN CAN SEE HER PERFORM. You don't even realize what a difference you make in some peoples lives in these stressful times. May God watch over you and bless you as you have blessed many like myself an mine.
Have a GR8! NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!

Hey Steve,
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of the time capsule. I'm looking forward to seeing you open it next year. Happy New Year to you and your family, my friend. Seizure next year!

Hi Steve
ReplyDeleteI have been watching your videos over the last 6 months and you have inspired me to dust off my tools and get woodworking again.
My 10 year old daughter has also got the bug and loves "helping" daddy in my little garage workshop.
I look forward to more of your projects and your laid back style of woodworking.
Happy New Year to you..
Richard. ( in the U.K.).
Thanks for your efforts over ththis year, I wish you and your family a very happy and prosperous new year.
ReplyDeletePete.
Here is to hoping you put a disaster preparedness kit into your 2012 time capsule Steve. You know a good beer that ages well, and a bottle opener! Because when the big one hits that's all I'm going to need. OK a lawn chair might be nice too I suppose ...
ReplyDeleteHey Steve!
ReplyDeleteNow that you have a new router and are considering making a router table you should make the router table from woodgears.ca
Happy New Year,
Alan

ReplyDeletePlan on opening the time capsule early... just in case the Mayans are right....
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great year of videos, and for a sense of humor I can truly relate to!
Steve,
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the great videos in 2011. Can't wait to see what 2012 holds! #1 Son and I check in every Friday for the latest episode...followed by requests to watch "that one...and then that one...and just one more" which is usually the ABC's of Woodworking.
All the best to you and the fam!

Thanks for the year's entertainment Steve. Looking forward to the router table project and will watch with interest how you address the 'lift' issue. They really are a lot of money.
ReplyDelete@Gareth Some are I suppose. My router came with one built into it. It isn't one of them fancy above table crank types though. I'm glad it isn't. I don't see the point in them being as I lock my router when I've set its height anyways. That happens under the table no matter what.
ReplyDeleteditto with all the previous comments. looking forward to more of your videos in 2012. good luck with your new router - you'll enjoy it. remember for each new project you'll need a new router bit!
ReplyDeletethanks again

ReplyDeleteI found you by accident when I found your youtube video "tooth and nail"....I was looking for something to do for my grandkids. I've followed you ever since. Steve, you make it fun and real for the rest of us who love to work with wood, but do not consider ourselves professional woodworkers. Thank you for all of your efforts, humor, and sharing of skills.
